Starscream’s Toast reviews the Star Wars Black Series Captain Phasma figure from The Force Awakens
Ever since the summer of 1977 Star Wars has captured the hearts and imaginations of people all over the world with a big thanks to the marketing of Star Wars action figures. On Christmas Day 1977 children were given an empty box promising that Star Wars figures would be mailed to them later and from then the toys were a worldwide phenomena until they fizzled out in 1985. Ten years later, in 1995 The Power of the Force line resurrected the brand and it has continued ever since. In 2013 Hasbro revealed a new range of figures: Star Wars Black Series – 6 inch figures more detailed than the traditional 3.75 inch Star Wars toys featuring characters from all incarnations of the franchise from the original trilogy to the new Disney films. In this category you’ll find our reviews and galleries of these wonderful figures and of the new sub brand The 40th Anniversary Collection.
