Transformers Power of the Primes Artwork Revealed

Nice big images of upcoming Transformers Power of the Primes Artwork has made its way onto the internet and we have them here!

The Tokyo Wonderfest this weekend showed a whole host of upcoming Transformers goodies including many figures from the Power of the Primes like The Terrorcons, Predacons, Prime Master Bludgeon and Prime Master Octopunch. One of the other cool things was that we also got some of the artwork in high quality images as you can see below! I believe all of the art is by IDW artist Marcelo Matere.

It’s great to see the Pretenders carrying on in their smaller form with fan favourites Bludgeon and Octopunch being added to the line and the unexpected Leader Class Optimal Optimus. The IDW influence is seen again in the line as Moonracer and Novastar get deluxe figures while Elita-1¬† gets a Voyager class figure which will no doubt please fans of the cancelled Transformers Til All Are One comic.

  • Transformers Power of the Primes deluxe wave 2 includes Rippersnapper, Sludge, Snarl, Darkwing and Moonracer and is set for release in April.
  • Voyagers Elita-1 and Hun-Grrr are also due in May.
  • Leader Class Rodimus Unicronus is due in June.
  • Wave 2 Legends figures Tailgate, Battleslash and Roadtrap are officially due out in April although have started turning up already.

No release date has been set for the other figures yet but they will probably be spread throughout the rest of the year.

You can buy Transformers merchandise in our store.
